Fringer is built to manage your menu bar and nothing else. It runs entirely on your Mac.

What we collect

Nothing. Fringer does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything it does happens on your device and stays there.

Permissions

Fringer asks for two macOS permissions, used only to manage your own menu bar:

• Accessibility — to detect and interact with menu bar items from other apps.
• Screen Recording — to capture menu bar item icons so it can show them in the Fringer Bar.

Anything obtained through these permissions is used locally and never leaves your computer.

Third-party services

Fringer integrates with no analytics, advertising, or tracking services of any kind.
